Amazon fires employees for leaking customer email addresses and phone numbers -TechCrunch

Amazon dismissed a number of its employees after they shared email addresses and customer phone numbers with a third party, which the company asserts violates its policies.

Amazon said in an email sent to customers - a TechCrunch technical website posted a snapshot of it: One of its employees was fired from the job because he shared the data with third parties, and confirmed that she supported law enforcement in her prosecution.

Amazon has confirmed the dismissal of employees of the (TechCrunch) site, and a spokesman said: A number of employees have been fired. The company did not disclose the information about the employees, nor when did they share the information, what external parties they shared with, or the number of clients affected.
This is not the first time that this has happened, Amazon has been just as mysterious about a similar breach of email addresses last year, which it also declined to comment on.

In a separate incident, Amazon said a few days ago: It has fired four employees of Ring, a company affiliated with Amazon that specializes in the field of cameras and smart home bells. She explained that the reason was due to incorrect video clips from customer cameras.
