Neither Netflix nor Prime Video... HBO Max is the fastest growing service

 4 major services dominate the current streaming platform market: Netflix, HBO Max, and Prime Video included with Amazon Prime and Disney subscriptions. Of the four video-on-demand platforms, the one that still has the most users today is Netflix, but the streaming service that has the most growth is HBO Max, overtaking Netflix itself and Prime Video.

As reported by GSMArena, JustWatch published data on video-on-demand market in the US in the last quarter of 2021, which reveals that HBO Max was the most-growing streaming service with an increase of 2 percentage points, which allowed it to get close to Disney and Hulu in Its battle to become the third broadcasting platform in the US state.

For its part, Netflix lost two percentage points in the last quarter of last year, while Hulu, Disney, Apple TV and Paramount gained one percentage point during the period.


Despite this percentage loss, Netflix maintained its leadership with a 25% market share, followed by Prime Video with a 19% market share, and Disney+, and Hulu with a 13% market share.

The trustworthy HBO Max ranks fifth with a market share of 12%, while Apple TV + with 5% market share and Paramount + with 3% market share occupy the sixth and seventh positions, respectively.

JustWatch also shared 2021 data for the US video-on-demand market, which shows us that all streaming platforms have seen significant growth over the past year, but once again HBO Max has grown by 5 percentage points.
