Anonymus attacks Tik Tok and accuses him of spying for China

The hacker group known as "Anonymous" through its Twitter account, warned the public about the security concerns of the famous Chinese application TikTok.

"Delete TikTok now; if you know someone that is using it explain to them it is essentially malware operated by the Chinese government running a massive spying operation." he tweeted, ourAnonCentral.

A post was included in the tweet from the site "Reddit" that its owner says that he decoded the application by reverse engineering and reached these results that confirm the application collecting data on users.

Among the data that the application collects - by tweet - the information of telephone devices (including CPU type, number of sessions, device identifiers, screen dimensions, memory usage, disk space, etc.), in addition to other applications installed on the device (Including deleted apps).

Also information related to the network (such as the router's IP address, the name of the Wi-Fi point), whether the device is protected, what is the jailbreak code and the server that is running on your device to transfer media.

Anonymous revenge on Tik Tok

What made Anonymus target Tik Tok is that anonymous users created a fake account on the application, and the group immediately explained that it does not have an account on the application through a tweet saying, "Anonymous has no Tik Tok account; that is an App created as spyware by the Chinese government. Just how Facebook / Instagram work as spyware for the U.S. government. Bad actors will use our image and name to try and discredit us through unethical actions.."
