Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S20 phones

Samsung announced a short time ago during a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, USA, for the new generation of the Galaxy S series flagship phones, after months of rapprochement and a lot of leaks.

And the Galaxy S20 phones are identical to what was leaked so far, especially with regard to design and name. Indeed, the Korean decided to use the system of counting dozens instead of ones. After that, the company was expected to call the phones the name “Galaxy S11” as a successor to the Galaxy S10 phones. The company called the Galaxy S20 on the new phones, which are three: (Galaxy S20), (Galaxy S20 Plus), and (Galaxy S20 Ultra).


The Korean tech giant said: The Galaxy S20 phones are a new series of major devices that "radically changes the way we capture and test our world." The Galaxy S20 series introduces a brand new camera architecture that combines artificial intelligence with Samsung's largest image sensor for stunning picture quality. ”

Samsung - the largest producer of smartphones in the world - plans to launch new phones starting March 6, in all gray, black for the phone (Galaxy S20 Plus), (Galaxy S20 Ultra), and the pink color for the Galaxy S20, and the color Blue for Galaxy S20 Plus.

Galaxy S20

This phone offers a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels with HDR + support, and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen also comes with the front camera within it, similar to last year's phones. The front camera comes with a 10-megapixel camera with f / 2.2 lens slot.

As for the three rear cameras, they are 12-megapixel for a 120-degree wide-angle camera and f / 2.2 lens, and the same accuracy for the second camera with f / 1.8 lens slot. The Telephoto depth camera is 64-megapixels and f / 2.0 lens slot. Optical, ultra-fast dual-pixel autofocus.

(Galaxy S20) - which weighs 163 grams and comes with a thickness of 7.9 mm - offers 12 GB of RAM LPDDR5 for the 5G model, and 8 GB for the 4G LTE model. It also offers 128GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD external memory cards. The phone works with the One UI 2.0 user interface built on the Android 10 operating system.

The phone has a 4,000 mAh battery, and the battery supports 10W fast wireless charging technology. The phone also has an ultrasound fingerprint sensor under the screen.

This phone shares with the Galaxy S20 in the type of screen, its resolution and the supported technologies, but it comes in 6.7 inches. It also shares the accuracy of the front camera. The rear cameras are four cameras, as the three main cameras are identical in specifications to the (Galaxy S20) cameras, but there is a fourth lens to support DepthVision technology.

(Galaxy S20) - which weighs 186 grams and comes with a thickness of 7.8 mm - offers 12 GB RAM type LPDDR5 for the 5G model with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB internal storage with the ability to expand up to 1 terabyte. As for the fourth generation LTE model, it offers 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The phone has a 4,500 mAh battery.

Galaxy S20 Ultra

This phone is the best, yet it shares with my phone (Galaxy S20), and (Galaxy S20 Plus) in the type of screen, accuracy and supported technologies, but it comes in 6.9 inches. The front camera is 40 megapixels with f / 2.2 lens. The rear cameras are four cameras, and it offers the highest accuracy, as one of the 108-megapixel rear cameras comes, 120-degree ultra-wide imaging cameras come with 12 megapixels, and the third camera has 48-megapixels, and there is a fourth lens to support DepthVision technology.

(Galaxy S20) - which weighs 220 grams and comes with a thickness of 8.8 millimeters - offers 12 GB RAM or 16 GB of type LPDDR5, and these sizes are available for both 5G and 4G LTE models. As for the internal storage, it is 512 GB, with 16 GB for RAM, 128 GB, or 256 GB for 12 GB. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery.
