During the past months, Microsoft has released several beta versions that revealed the new features, and they are now available with the stable final version. Because the browser is based on the Chromium engine, it will now get new updates every 6 weeks.

The improved version of the Edge browser - which replaced the famous Internet Explorer browser with the launch of Windows 10 in 2015 - is based on Google's open source Chromium engine, which runs many popular web browsers, such as Google Chrome , And Firefox from Mozilla.
