MediaTek has unveiled the Dimension series of powerful 5G processors that differentiate the flavor, connectivity, and memories of imaging in leading smartphones, a step towards a new era of mobile devices.
The Dimension 1000 is the first mobile processor to support 5G networks, a single chip with a built-in modem, and built in 7nm technology. It is engaged in the manufacture of solar panels in the new generation.
"Our Dimension series is a 5-generation recovery and puts us in a leading position in the development of 5-generation innovation," said Jo Chen, president of the company. "Our 5G technology makes us competitive with anyone in the industry."
Dimension 1000 supports full 5G network aggregation, while at the same time, according to the company, a world-wide download speed of 4.7 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps upload speed across 6GHz networks. The latest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 standards are also available
The new processor has 4 powerful ARM Cortex-A77 2.66 GHz cores, and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 cores with high power efficiency of 2.0 GHz. So this design is the perfect balance between energy efficiency and high performance.
