Instagram's photo and video sharing service announced today the launch of a new feature that allows users to share more than one image within stories.
Instagram - owned by Facebook - explained that users can post multiple photos on one screen. The new feature - called Layout - will be available worldwide from today, and it allows up to 6 photos to be shared together.
Although this feature may seem simple, it is likely to be very popular, especially in light of the many users resorting to third-party story editing applications, so providing this feature from Instagram itself is welcome.
Instagram said in her tweet via her official account on the social networking site Twitter: “Take a picture, then another picture, then another. With Layout you can record and share many images in your story. It is a new and creative way to express yourself. Check it out! ”
Instagram has been seeking over the past period to enhance the features available with stories, including the Create Mode which gives people a place to make content more than just pictures, there are also other modes, and many other benefits.
This, and the latest version of the Instagram app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android users, and from the App Store for iPhone and iPad users from Apple.
