We know that one of the best services Google has created is Google Photos, a platform that allows unlimited storage of our photos on Android and iOS, so we can keep our memories for a long time without paying for additional storage (at least if we keep them as good as Google requires) ).

On the other hand, Facebook is another platform with many of the most important photos and videos, and until recently, there wasn't an easy way to pass our Facebook photos and videos to Google Photos, but that's over.
Mark Zuckerberg announced today that users can now easily and quickly transfer all their photos and videos from the social network to Google Photos, thanks to a project that includes both Google and Facebook called Data Transfer Project.
The new tool is called the "Data Portability Tool", where they explain that for ten years they allowed their users to download their information from Facebook, but not to transfer it, so Facebook users will now be allowed to transfer their photos and videos directly to other services, starting with Google Photos.
The service will be available from today in Ireland and will reach more countries from the first half of 2020.
To use this tool when you have it, just go to Facebook settings, then go to the option where we download the information from the platform, here we will find the new tool to transfer our multimedia content to Google Photos with one click.
As mentioned, the first compatible service will be Google Photos, but later it will also be available for iCloud (although iOS users can also use Google Photos).
