Global technology giant Google is facing serious accusations of spying on its employees within the company, which has aroused anger within the ranks of employees and caused much controversy in the technical arena in general recently.
According to a number of employees at Google's parent company Alphabet, the company is installing an add-on on Google Chrome to spy on its employees, especially with regard to trade union activities, where it can monitor users if they are invited to meetings of more than 100 employees Google employees.
Alpapet denied the charges altogether, and a spokesman for Alpapet told specialized sites that the addition of the company's employees are not related to the sensitivity of them, and that the goal is to reduce spam in Google Calendar and make employees more vigilant during the Send meeting invitations.
