whatsapp is now available for standard KaiOS phones

KaiOS, is the operating system used in regular phones, will finally get an official version of whatsapp. That's right, Facebook does not forget the least tech devices and provides this excellent functionality to all its users. If you want to learn more about this, do not miss this article.

The whatsapp has been gradually released since last year and first arrived at
JioPhone phones. Earlier this year, it was announced that it had reached the Nokia 8110, but only in India. But now for the first time a wider global launch is announced and will cover more phones. The application is now available for a total of seven devices: KaiOS: Cat B35, Doro 7060, JioPhone, JioPhone 2, MTN Smart, Nokia 8110 and Orange Sanza.
A whatsapp app can be downloaded from the KaiStore Store for devices with 256 MB or 512 MB of RAM and will be pre-installed on selected phones in the third quarter of this year. The version supports the WAPOS system for calls and messages, and includes end-to-end encryption, just like on Android and iOS.
In Western markets, devices such as the Nokia 8110 are marketed as phones that people buy if they want to stay away from modern applications. But this is not the case in developing countries where the low cost, simplicity and long life of these phones are among the most important aspects. In many of these countries, whatsapp is almost a basic telecommunications service, and users will not be affected now if they have a cheaper phone.
