Asus introduced its first laptop that goes beyond the traditional concept of the new ZenBook Pro Duo, which has an additional integrated screen in place where we usually see the keyboard.
As part of the Computex 2019 exhibition, Asus announced the stunning features of the new ZenBook Pro Duo, featuring two monitors: one with a 15-inch OLED panel, and another ScreenPad Plus screen, the multi-function display.
Asus chooses to refurbish the concept of laptops, as it appeared last year when the Asus ZenBook Pro UX580, with a small touch screen instead of the classic touchpad for laptops.
A new idea for the company to expand this year, by merging nothing more than Screen Pad Plus, a screen in the keyboard area can expand the main screen or split it into two panels smaller than 16: 9 to 1080 pixels.
But it is not just a screen that can be expanded to become an additional keyboard!
Because ScreenPad Plus is set up as a second screen in Windows 10, you can drag any app to the bottom screen or hide icons or folders if you want to separate them from the home screen.
The ScreenPad Plus screen will be very useful for professional designers and illustrators who may not have a tablet for their graphics, as this screen has a touch pen.
For the ZenBook Pro Duo, it comes with a powerful Intel Core i9 processor with a GPU Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU, up to 32GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage.
It also has four microphones designed for use with the Alexa and Cortana virtual assistants, and it has a blue echo-like LED on the lower edge that is activated by voice commands.
It also has a Thunderbolt 3 port, two USB-A ports, a full-size headphone jack, a full-size HDMI port, and a new WiFi 6 connection for wireless broadband.
As we see it, it's a powerful laptop that combines everything that most common users need to the most demanding level of hardware such as a web programmer or designer. This device also has a modest 14-inch version that does not clearly contain the advanced features of the ZenBook Pro Duo.
