Officially, the way to activate the new dark mode in Google Chrome for Windows

With the arrival of Chrome 74, Google officially launched the dark mode in its browser for Windows, which is supposed to be activated automatically by whether we have activated the dark mode of Windows operating system 10 or not.

However, if you can not activate the new dark mode of Google Chrome in Windows for some reason, here's how you can enforce it so you can use it without a problem.

The first thing you need to do is update to version 74, otherwise it will not work with you.
To update Chrome, go to the "Help" section and then About Google Chrome> Update, or update it from the following link: Google Chrome

If you have already updated Google Chrome, now go to its icon and press the right button and select the "Properties" option.

In the window that opens the search for "Direct access" option and in the "Destination" box, you must add the following: -force-dark-mode

The path would be as follows: "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" -force-dark-mode
