Realme announces the X2 Pro to rival the OnePlus 7T

OPPO's Realme has unveiled its new flagship smartphone, the Realme X2 Pro, a huge leap from the X2 model, so that the two phones share only one name.
It seems that the startup of the smartphone industry is no longer satisfied with staying in place, so this pioneer challenges the flagship phones from companies such as Xiaomi and Honor OnePlus directly.

The phone features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p + and a refresh rate of 90 hertz, and color rendering is supported via HDR10 + feature and full coverage of DCI-P3 color space.

Underneath the screen is a new built-in fingerprint reader, which unlocks the phone in 0.23 seconds, while the reader on the X2 needs 0.36 seconds.

The company chose the Snapdragon 855 + processor to run the phone, one of the fastest Android processors available, with a 15 percent increase in GPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 855.                                                                                                        The chip is cooled by a steam room through a graphite plate to help spread heat evenly, HyperBoost 2.0 is a more stable frame rate, and Touch Boost 2.0 increases touch response by 35 percent.

The basic configuration includes 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage, and there are 8/128 GB or 12/256 GB options, but the storage standard varies to the fastest UFS 3.0.

The Realme X2 Pro does not have a microSD slot, but it comes with a quad-lens rear camera, a 16-megapixel front camera with a size of 1.0 micron pixels and a Quad Bayer filter, which features Night Scape and EIS video stabilizer.

The rear camera consists of a 64-megapixel primary lens with Samsung's 0.8-megapixel GW1 sensor with a f / 1.8 aperture, a second 13-megapixel zoom lens with 2x, and a third wide-angle 115-degree 8-megapixel lens that can accurately capture slow-motion videos 720p at 960 fps.

There is also a fourth 2-megapixel depth lens to help the main lens by improving image contrast, and Realme has developed a new version of its dedicated night mode, Nightscape 2.0, which uses artificial intelligence and multiple frames to reduce noise and glare, while improving dynamic range.

The Realme X2 Pro is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with support for 50W SuperVOOC, which promises to charge 80 percent in just 30 minutes, along with USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm QuickCharge standards.

The smartphone comes with four color options: Ocean Blue and Midnight Silver with two Master versions that come in red and gray.

The Realme X2 Pro has a new engine for better gaming vibration, and Realme says this is the first phone with dual Ultra Linear speakers, with support for Dolby Atmos as well as high-fidelity audio.

The sale of Realme X2 Pro starts in China from October 18, and is priced at $ 380 for the 6/64 GB version, while the model 8/128 GB costs $ 410, while the model 12/256 GB costs $ 465.

The company is scheduled to hold an event in Madrid later today to announce the availability and pricing of Realme X2 Pro in Europe.
