Google has just launched Travel, a new web-based experience for unified travel planning. The service is compatible with mobile phones and desktop devices and provides all the information that users may need to plan their next trips on the same site.

To do this, Google owns information from different sources. The entire search and organization will be stored within the flights, ie, searches done, destinations selected, and even flights created, allowing users to resume planning their trips at different times.
Another interesting aspect is that while organizing travel, Travel will report upcoming activities, restaurants and other aspects of Google Maps to serve as a guide, including recommendations based on where you visit.
