Why you should remove Internet Explorer from your computer now

Information security expert John Page found a new vulnerability in Internet Explorer. Allows hackers to access any files from victims' computers using MHT files, which are opened by default in Microsoft's browser.

The problem is the way IE handles MHT files. Hackers can access data using a simple JavaScript function that does not attract user attention.

The experiment was performed on Internet Explorer 11 and later versions of Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2012 R2.

At the end of March 2019, John announced his discovery of Microsoft, but the company did not consider the problem serious and would correct the error "in subsequent releases."

Despite Microsoft's announcement, this security issue can be very serious. If you want to protect yourself, remove Internet Explorer from your computer or do not open any MHT files.
