This is the case with ES File Explorer, the most popular file explorer, which at the beginning of the year discovered a critical security vulnerability in the application that allowed third parties to access mobile phone files provided they were connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Months later, Google banned this app on fraud charges.

According to Android Police, ES File Explorer, a popular file management application and one of the most popular Android applications, was banned by Google Play because of fraud. The app was also removed from Google's store all night, leaving millions of users unable to access it. A few days ago, it was reported that Google had decided to ban DO Global applications, eliminating each of its 46 different applications, after learning that they were executing operations in the background to generate illegal clicks on ads. That is, the developer used their apps to click ads without user knowledge, even when the app was not active.
ES File Explorer, the most popular Android file browser that has downloaded more than 100 million downloads on Google Play, has been added to this list of blocked applications. If you have installed this application, it is best to remove it immediately from your device.
